Powell County, KY- A man who has been in the burn unit at UK Hospital since a house exploded in rural Powell County last week has now died of his injuries.
A funeral home in Powell County confirms its now handling arrangements for a second victim in last week’s deadly house explosion in Powell County.
Jack Robert’s son, Jerry, died at UK Hospital early Friday afternoon.
Hondo Hearne with Hearne Funeral Home in Stanton says arrangements for Jerry Roberts are pending.
Visitation for Jack Roberts is taking place tonight at the funeral home. His funeral will be there Saturday morning at 11:00. Investigators think a propane appliance in the basement may have caused the explosion at Jack Robert’s home back on September 22.
Robert’s daughter, Karen Knox, remain at UK Hospital in critical condition.
