Beverly, KS – BEVERLY, Kan. (KAKE) –
A woman was flown to a Wichita hospital Wednesday morning after a reported natural gas explosion at a home in rural Lincoln County.
Sheriff Mike Weigel told the Salina Journal that the blast happened at around 7:30 a.m. in the 600 block of North 290th Road, near the town of Beverly.
Weigel said a neighbor heard the explosion and called 911. He told the Journal over the phone that the home was destroyed and debris was blown at least 100 yards from the house.
The victim’s name and condition were not immediately available.
