Waynesville, MO – The Missouri Highway Patrol says there was no foul play in the death of a couple in Pulaski County earlier this year.

Frank Wevers, 66, and his wife Mary, 58, of Kimberling City were found dead in their camping trailer. They were staying at the Pulaski County Shrine Club near Buckhorn, Missouri in late May.

An autopsy found the couple died from suffocation due to carbon monoxide.

Troopers say investigators found a portable generator close to the trailer.

They say the way it was positioned would have caused the exhaust to filter back into the trailer.
