Spring Valley, NY – A tragic incident took place today, Tuesday morning, when a bus driver was found dead in Spring Valley.
35-year-old Mates Glick, a resident of Borough Park, was sitting on the bus he drove for Monroe Bus Company, waiting for passengers to return from a wedding in Monsey so he could take them back to Brooklyn . It was already in the wee hours of the morning when Glick was found in a state of cardiac arrest on the bus he parked at the Shopping mall on Kennedy Drive, at the corner of Route 59.
Officials believe Glick fell asleep on the bus, and may have died as a result from Carbon Monoxide.
Paramedics and Hatzolah responded to the scene and tried their best, but unfortunately their efforts were unsuccessful. He was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern where he was later pronounced dead.
