Takoma Park, MD – Several residents are being evaluated after a carbon monoxide leak at an apartment building in Takoma Park Friday, according to fire officials.
Around 7 p.m. Montgomery County Fire responded to the 7700 block of Eastern Avenue and discovered a carbon monoxide leak in a three-story apartment building.
Fire officials say the apartment building has been evacuated and several residents are being evaluated. At least one person has been transported to a local hospital, fire officials said.
