Seatac, WA – The Radisson Hotel on International Boulevard in SeaTac was evacuated Saturday, after an alarm was activated by the presence of carbon monoxide.
At 1:47 p.m., the Kent Fire Department was dispatched to the seven-story hotel.
Firefighters confirmed the presence of carbon monoxide there, using hand-held detectors.
The hotel’s top six floors were evacuated. Guests gathered in the lobby on the ground floor.
Kent Fire Department officials say there were no reports of illness from the carbon monoxide.
After a short investigation, the origin of the carbon monoxide was determined to be the swimming pool boiler system.
