Beavercreek, OH — Firefighters and Vectren natural gas crews are investigating the cause of an explosion at a Beavercreek house that sparked a fire Wednesday afternoon.
Crews responded to the 1500 block of Forestdale Avenue, near Dayton Xenia Road, around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday and reported structural damage and flames coming from the house.
Our crew on the scene reported visible damage to the structure near the attached garage.
The initial investigation found the source of the explosion was likely natural gas, however a full investigation will be completed to determine the exact cause of the explosion and fire, Beavercreek fire Capt. Dustin Harrison said.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
