Columbus, OH – A South Linden home was damaged by a fire caused by a natural gas explosion Friday afternoon.
Firefighters were called to a home on the 900 block of Chittenden Avenue shortly before 3:30 p.m. Friday on a report of a fire.
Firefighters responding to the fire were initially concerned about the possibility of the structure collapsing because of the damage.
The fire was contained by 4 p.m.
No one was in the home at the time of the fire.
Columbus Gas and firefighters were working to determine what caused the explosion.
