A man killed in a house explosion near Derby last night has been identified as 88-year-old Roland “Andy” Dayton.His family confirmed his identity to Eyewitness News.
A propane buildup is likely to blame for a deadly house explosion just outside Derby late Monday.Fire officials gave an update on the explosion Tuesday morning.
Sedgwick County Fire Marshal Daniel Wegner says there are no signs of foul play.
Crews will remain on the scene to investigate.
No other buildings were damaged in the blast.

AM Update: Crews remain on the scene of a deadly house explosion in Derby.
Eyewitness News spoke with the niece of the victim.She was at the scene first thing this morning. She told us more family was on the way.
There’s still no word on what caused the explosion.
The man’s name has not been released.

Crews from multiple agencies responded to the scene where a home has been leveled following an explosion and fire Monday night in the 7500 block of South 127th East in Derby.
A little after 11:30 p.m., Sedgwick County Fire Division Chief Kip Hiebert says crews believe they found one victim in debris. The division chief said the victim would be identified on Tuesday.
The emergency call was made a little before 10 p.m.We heard multiple reports from people who say they were able to feel the explosion from four to five miles away from the scene.
Fire crews from Derby, McConnell Air Force Base, Rose Hill, Sedgwick County and Wichita responded to the scene.
