Bois Blanc Island, MI – We have an update on a house fire in Mackinac County that left two people hurt.
We’re now learning one of the victims has died.
Deputies and fire crews were called to the house on Bois Blanc Island around 11 Sunday morning.
The Mackinac County sheriff says Kevin McCormack and one other person were hurt in the fire.
Both were taken to a hospital downstate for treatment.
Kevin later died.
The other victim is still in the hospital and is expected to recover.
Investigators are still looking into the cause of the fire, but the sheriff says it appears to be an accidental propane explosion.
