IA – Brian Tolson, 36, of Altoona, received what were believed to be minor burns Friday in an explosion at Peterbilt of Des Moines in Altoona.
The possible cause of the blast was believed to be a natural gas leak, but Altoona Fire Department and Mid-American Energy were investigating the cause.
Tolson was taken to Mercy Hospital with apparent minor burns, police said. Another worker, Stuart Gray of Ankeny, was examined at the scene but was not taken to the hospital.
