Springfield, MO – A rather unusual accident sent a man to the hospital.
Paramedics were dispatched to Village Ridge in Springfield just after noon today when a woman at the home found her husband unconscious and their vehicle running in the garage.
Authorities say the couple returned home last night, parked the van in the garage, and went inside.
Somehow, hit their remote start by accident and the vehicle ran in the garage throughout the night.
Paramedics took the man to the hospital for treatment of suspected carbon monoxide poisoning.
