Tulsa, OK – The Grand River Dam Authority Police Department continues to investigate three boating accidents that occurred Saturday, two of which were fatal.

Officers say one of the incidents that happened in the back of the Duck Creek arm of Grand Lake is being investigated as a possible carbon monoxide poisoning.

They say one person died, Myron Posivak, 42, of Gilbert, AZ and three others, Linda Sanchez, 50, of Adair, OK, Michael Brady, 60, of Vinita, OK,Laura Brady, 39, of Gilbert, AZ were taken to a Grove hospital. One other person, Linda Brady, 61, of Vinita, OK was treated and released.

Officers say a fatal boat accident happened Saturday evening near Langley on the upper reaches of Lake Hudson by the Highway 82 Bridge. They say a woman, Patricia Jeanette Kurth, 46, Big Cabin, OK, was on a pontoon boat and fell through the front gate of the boat and ended up getting run over by the vessel as it moved over her.

GRDA officers also responded to a boat fire at Tera Miranda on Grand Lake. They say the boat had just finished refueling when the engine was started and caught fire.

They say six people were taken to a Grove hospital and three others were airlifted to a Tulsa hospital. All but one have been released.

The names of the people were Rosalyn Yates, 20, of Grove, OK (still hospitalized), Dana Clark, 44, of Skiatook, OK, Anna Bass, 37, of Grove, OK, Michael Seth Stanton, 24, Skiatook, OK, Kerry Bass, 43, Grove, OK, Taylor Lorentz, 22, Skiatook, OK, Scott Alan Lomax, 49, Skiatook, OK, Christopher Frauendiest, 19, Grove, OK, and one minor.

GRDA says these boating accidents remain under investigation.
