Providence, RI – Firefighters were on scene of a carbon monoxide scare at a downtown apartment building.
Providence fire crews have finished their final sweep to the building on 50 Park Row West with a detector, searching for any additional signs of carbon monoxide.
Deputy Assistant Fire Chief Joseph Desmarais tells us that three men were using power washing equipment when they noticed something was wrong.
The men were said to be very dazed and confused when fire crews arrived on scene.
Crews flipped on exhaust fans on the first floor to circulate the air to the lower levels.
The apartment units themselves have not evacuated. CO levels have not been registered on the upper floors of the building.
All three men were taken to the hospital, as well as a desk attendant.
The conditions of all four people are unknown at this time, but they were conscious.
