Washingtonville, NY – An Orange County family spent Christmas Day in the hospital suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning.
Four people–two adults, an 8-month-old boy and a 7-year-old girl–were taken from a home on McLaughlin Way in Washingtonville to the Orange Regional Medical Center after complaining of dizziness and headaches.
Police say the carbon monoxide detector in the house did go off, and tests found high levels of it in the house.
Everyone is expected to be OK.
