Colorado Springs, CO- COLORADO SPRINGS A man was found dead Tuesday morning in an apparent carbon-monoxide poisoning at a home in eastern Colorado Springs.
Police and fire crews were called to the home at 2122 Meyers Ave. shortly after 8:30 a.m. after the man’s female roommate found him lying next to a couch, said police Sgt. Bob Konz.
Konz said the man and the woman, who were renting the home, were using a generator because their utilities had been shut off. The generator was being used to power lights in the home and equipment for growing marijuana in the basement, the sergeant said.
