Parsons, KS – Two men were found dead Tuesday evening in a house on the north side of Parsons, victims of suspected carbon monoxide poisoning.
Parsons firefighters were called to 1221 N. 26th at 6:36 p.m. Tuesday. Emergency personnel remained on scene for a time and police officers remained while the deaths were investigated.
Deputy Labette County Coroner Scott Grassl said carbon monoxide is suspected in the deaths of the men, ages 40 and 43. Their bodies have been sent to Frontier Forensics in Kansas City for autopsies, he said.
No foul play is suspected in their deaths, he said.
