Highland Park, MI – An investigation is underway after two people were found dead in a home in Highland Park.
Highland Park police were conducting a welfare check on Sunday when they forced entry into the house and found the bodies of two men, ages 42 and 68.
Foul play is not suspected, according to City of Highland Park spokesperson Marli Blackman.
Blackman told WWJ Newsradio 950’s Zach Claek that there was no heat in the home, and that investigators believed the cause of death may have been carbon monoxide poisoning.
A report from the Wayne County Medical Examiner is pending as the investigation continues.
Blackman said the victims may be a father and son. Their names were not immediately released.
