Medina County, TX – Deputies suspect the death of a 3-year-old in Medina County Monday afternoon was caused by possible carbon monoxide poisoning.

Sheriff Randy Brown said the child’s death is possibly heat or carbon monoxide-related. A carbon monoxide-related death is suspected because a generator was found running at the family’s home.

An Airlife helicopter landed on the football field of D’Hanis High School to transport the child’s mother to a San Antonio hospital. It is unknown which hospital she was transported to.
