Laurel, MD – Two people were overcome by carbon monoxide Sunday night in Laurel, the Prince George’s County fire department said.
The two were described as semi-conscious after working on a car on an enclosed garage in the 7500 block of Cavan Court , said Mark E. Brady, spokesman for the fire department. Both people were taken to a hospital.
The incident occurred about 7:30 p.m. The site is about two miles northeast of the intersection of the Intercounty Connector and Interstate 95.
