West Carrollton, OH – An unused fork lift in a business caused one person to go to the hospital, and evacuated three other businesses in that commercial strip.
It began in the 2000 block of Alex Street in West Carrollton when employees there reported that they were not feeling well, and called for help. Investigators determined that the fork lift was seeping carbon monoxide, despite being unused.
Six businesses in total line the commercial strip. Four are occupied while two are vacant. The colorless, odorless and tasteless gas evacuated all businesses in that area.
The transported’s condition is unknown Thursday afternoon.
