Mt. Lebanon, PA – One person was hospitalized Wednesday evening after a Mt. Lebanon apartment building had to be evacuated due to a carbon monoxide leak at the pool.

Emergency dispatchers confirmed the building at Bower Hill Apartments was evacuated about 6:30 p.m.

One person was taken to an area hospital with possible carbon monoxide poisoning. The person’s name and condition were not immediately available.

Firefighters checked every room of the eight-story building before letting residents back in by 9 p.m.
