Green Bay, WI – Two people were taken to a hospital for observation late Saturday when a Green Bay apartment complex registered high levels of carbon monoxide.
At about 10:30 p.m., the Green Bay Metro Fire Department was called to a carbon monoxide alarm at 127 S. Platten.
Firefighters’ air monitoring equipment read an abnormally high level of CO, according to the fire department.
Additional crews were called to the scene, including two ladder trucks and three ambulances.
The 28-unit building was evacuated and two people were taken to the hospital for observation.
The building was ventilated and cleared of CO, according to the fire department. Residents were allowed back in the building.
Investigators do not yet know the source of the carbon monoxide.
