Lawrence Township, PA – Lawrence Township Police Department responded to a carbon monoxide alarm at Sid’s Sub Shop at approximately 10:52 a.m. Monday. Emergency personnel evacuated the building and conducted a carbon monoxide test.
According to police, two female employees were transported to Penn Highlands Clearfield to be evaluated for possible CO poisoning as a result of the incident.
Firefighters cleared the scene and allowed the owner to re-enter the building when the CO level returned to zero. Hyde and Lawrence Township fire companies assisted at the scene.
