Miami Beach, FL – Crews gave the all-clear at a Miami Beach building, hours after, officials said, residents may have been exposed to carbon monoxide.
Miami Beach Fire Rescue units responded to the scene at Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Federation Towers on West Avenue and Seventh Street, Monday afternoon.
Officials said residents complained of feeling ill and were removed from certain floors. They said meters detected elevated levels of carbon monoxide on the premises.
Crews are currently working with maintenance to figure out the source of the possible carbon monoxide leak.
An elderly woman was transported to the hospital as a precaution. The all-clear was given late Monday.
