Morgan County, MO – Two women were transported to the hospital after inhaling carbon monoxide fumes while boating on Lake of the Ozarks Saturday night, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Erin Mulder, 30, of Lake St. Louis, and Kristen Mulder, 31, of St. Louis, were both rendered unconscious after inhaling carbon monoxide fumes emitted by the boat they were in as they traveled at low speeds down the lake.
Both women were transported to Lake Regional Hospital by ambulance with minor injuries.
The driver of the boat was uninjured.
