Berwick, ME – Fire officials say at least one person was taken to a hospital after suffering from the apparent effects of high levels of carbon monoxide.
The Berwick Fire Department said it was called at about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday to an apartment complex in town, where a high level of carbon monoxide was found inside one of the apartments.
Officials told WMTW-TV that one tenant was removed from the apartment and taken to a hospital.
