Middletown, DE – State Fire Marshal’s investigators say a propane leak caused an explosion and fire in a house in Middletown Friday morning.
It happened around 9:30am in a crawl space at the house in the 600 block of Old School House Road.
Firefighters from several companies were able to bring the fire under control eventually, but it caused about $400,000 damage.
The house’s occupants are staying with family members.
