Muskegon, MI – Authorities say an abandoned house in Muskegon has exploded, damaging two other vacant homes next door.
House explosions often result from natural gas leaks, and authorities are investigating whether that was the cause of Sunday morning’s blast. No injuries have been reported.
Mlive.com says the blast happened about 8:30 a.m. It says the house’s roof came to rest on a neighboring home.
WOOD-TV says crews have been going through the debris, and heavy equipment has been brought in to level the wreckage.
