Newton, IA – A gas leak is to blame in a death in Newton.
The Daily News reports it happened at the Meadowbrook Apartments Monday afternoon on East 12th Street North.
There was a high level of carbon monoxide gas throughout the building.
One man was found dead.
Officials haven’t found the cause of the leak.
