Kansas City, KS – Seven people are recovering after escaping a home with high carbon-monoxide levels.

The Kansas City, Kansas, Fire Department said one person in the home on North 29th Street called 911 late Thursday, complaining of dizziness, headaches and pain.

Fire crews found high levels of CO in the home, authorities said. Carbon monoxide is an invisible, odorless, colorless gas.

Two adults, two toddlers and three teenagers were taken to hospitals for evaluation and treatment.
