Washington, DC – Three people were taken to the hospital after being exposed to carbon monoxide in a D.C. home Sunday morning.
D.C. Fire and Emergency Medical Services were on the scene at 5008 5th Street NW around 10:00 a.m. where they say there were high carbon mOne other person was treated and released on the scene. Officials say the carbon monoxide was caused by a faulty furnace.
Fire officials say there was no carbon monoxide detector in the house.
