Hearne, TX – Multiple people were sent to the hospital for carbon monoxide poisoning during the Hearne High School football game Friday night.
Superintendent Adrain Johnson confirmed that the poisonous gas affected student volunteers among others in the concession stand area at the game.
EMS was called to the scene to check people out and recommended some be transported to the hospital for further treatment.
A propane tank being used in the stand is thought to be the cause at this time.
