Scottsdale, AZ – Scottsdale, Phoenix and Mesa fire departments responded to calls about hazardous materials in Scottsdale on Friday morning.
Around 10:30 a.m. the fire departments arrived in the area of Pima Road and Via De Ventura where a possible carbon monoxide leak was found in an office building.
The carbon monoxide leak forced an evacuation of about 75 people. One person was transported to a hospital to be treated after feeling ill.
Fire crews said they are working to isolate the source of the leak and to stop the problem as soon as possible.
