Canon City, CO – CANON CITY, Colo. –
A man and woman were found dead in a Cañon City home over the weekend, and police say it appears carbon monoxide is to blame.
The bodies were found at around 8 p.m. Sunday at a home in the 2000 block of E. Main St.
Police say the bodies of Larry Kelly, 48, and Amanda Potter, 31, were found by friends and family members who went to check on them after they didn’t hear from them for several days.
Police say a gas powered generator may have filled the home with carbon monoxide, killing the unidentified pair.
An investigation is underway to confirm how they died.
