Lakewood, CO – Three people became ill when a furnace pumped carbon monoxide into a business at a Lakewood strip mall Saturday morning.
Firefighters were called to 7740 W. Alameda Ave. just after 11 a.m., and evacuated the strip mall.
The three people who became ill worked at the Noodle & Company, according to West Metro Fire District Chief Keith Schneider. They were all transported to the hospital.
A bad furnace was putting carbon monoxide into business, Schneider told 7NEWS. It was repaired.
