Toledo, OH – KeyBank in downtown Toledo was evacuated today after a bank manager reported carbon monoxide, authorities said.
A total of six people, all bank employees, were evacuated from the building at 245 N. Superior St. at about 10:30 a.m.
“We’ve had a [carbon monoxide] level of 200, down to 50 now, which is still dangerous,” Fire Lt. John Paul Thibert said. The safe level is zero, he said.
The employees were still out of the building at noon and firefighters remained on scene to monitor the levels.
