Bloomer, WI – Two adults and five children received help after a report of them being exposed to carbon monoxide poisoning in rural Bloomer on Monday night.
The incident happened at 11:48 p.m., according to Lt. Tim Blizek of the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Department.
A sheriff’s department log item said the report was made from Enos C. Yoder from 7632 County AA, Bloomer.
Most of the seven people were treated at the scene and released, Blizek said. Others were taken by a private vehicle to Mayo Clinic Health System-Chippewa Valley in Bloomer.
Bloomer Fire Department responded as did ambulances from Chippewa Falls and the Chippewa Fire District, along with the Mayo One medical helicopter.
