Suffolk, VA – A Wal-Mart in Suffolk has been evacuated because after carbon monoxide was detected inside the store.
Suffolk city spokeswoman Diana Klink tells media outlets that a customer reported smelling gas in the store shortly before before 9 a.m. Tuesday. Fire and rescue units detected carbon monoxide and the store was evacuated and closed at 10:45 a.m.
Klink says there were no reports of injuries or illness.
