Montgomery County, TX – A second person has died from injuries she sustained in a propane gas explosion at a home in Dobbin, just west of Conroe.

Lena Mock Knight, 65, died Saturday. The announcement was made on the Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office’s facebook page.

Knight’s sister, 55-year-old Jennifer Mock, died on Thursday.

Mock’s 8-month-old grandson, Wyatt Mock, was also caught in the exposion. He continues to improve and he is expected to survive his injuries, according to the fire marshal’s office.

The cause of the explosion is still under investigation, but investigators believe it was the result of a build-up of flammable gasses in or around the home.

A fund has been set up at Woodforest Bank to help cover the family’s expenses. Contributions may be made to the Mock Family Fund, Acct. #1317005609. Or send a check or money order to: Mock Family Fund, P.O. Box 1537, Montgomery, TX 77356.
