Columbus, OH- Eight people were taken to the hospital Wednesday morning to be treated for symptoms consistent with carbon monoxide poisoning.
According to the Columbus Division of Fire, firefighters responded to the 2700 block of Bulen Avenue home on a report of carbon monoxide poisoning.
According to fire officials, arriving firefighters found eight people in the residence. One of the people was a woman who is nine months pregnant.
At least two people were taken to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center to be treated.Some of the people in the home at the time of the incident transported themselves to the hospital. They told medic personnel they had all been feeling sick for several days.
There was no carbon monoxide detector in the house at the time, according to fire officials.
Columbia Gas technicians have responded to the scene.
