San Antonio, TX – Four children and two adults were hospitalized late Wednesday evening after they became sick from carbon monoxide, San Antonio fire officials said.

Fire crews responded to the incident just before 9 p.m. in the 600 block of N. New Braunfels Avenue.

Fire officials said the family was trying to keep warm with a Habachi grill, but were using charcoal instead of wood and got sick from the fumes.

The family was transported to a nearby hospital after they reported breathing problems.

There was no word if the parents would face charges related to the case.
