Waxahachie, TX- Two people were seriously hurt Monday morning when a house exploded in Waxahachie.
It happened around 8 a.m. in the 100 block of Arabian Road in the Saddlebrook Estates neighborhood.
Waxahachie Emergency Management Coordinator Marcus Brown said the two victims were taken to the hospital by helicopter and a third person was treated for minor injuries at the scene.

Photos and video from SKY 4 showed a home that was completely destroyed. Debris was scattered across the neighborhood and at least nine other homes were damaged.
FOX 4’s Lori Brown talked to a woman whose home was destroyed in the West, Texas blast. She was in the area this explosion happened.
“There was a young man with down syndrome, badly burned, bleeding from his foot on the curb. I knelt down, prayed for him and talked to him. He was worried about his sister,” Carrie Thompson said. “She came out badly burned, badly burned. They had us move him. Me and others and state troopers helped move him.”
It is not yet clear what caused the explosion, but officials and neighbors suspect natural gas was to blame. Atmos Energy crews are investigating.
“We work closely with our first responders to make the area safe and then conduct leak surveys in the area to identify if gas was involved. At this point it is too soon to tell what caused this incident,” said Jennifer Altieri, a spokeswoman for Atmos.
One neighbor said he reported a gas outage over the weekend. He was told that he needed to wait for someone to come out on Monday.
