Grady County, OK — Two people were injured after authorities said a house exploded Saturday evening in Grady County.
According to Grady County Fire Department officials, firefighters responded around 6 p.m. Saturday to a report of a residential house explosion with unknown injuries. When firefighters arrived, they found two people who lived in the home had suffered injuries from the explosion and a flash fire that also occurred.
The victims were taken to Comanche Memorial Hospital and then transferred to facilities in Oklahoma City, fire officials said. The extent of their injuries and their conditions have not been released.
Fire officials said a preliminary investigation indicates the incident was a propane fuel related explosion and fire. The property is a total loss.
