Fair Oaks, VA – Two children and three adults were hospitalized after a carbon monoxide incident at a home in Fair Oaks Thursday, according to authorities.

The Fairfax County Fire Department says they were called to a home at 12151 Caldicot Lane at around 12:47 p.m.

The five people were found and taken to the hospital in “non-critical” condition, fire officials say and the source of the carbon monoxide was reportedly a running car in the garage.

Fairfax County Fire say they are working on ventilating the home and finding the source of the carbon monoxide.
