Columbus, GA – Three people were found dead in their home Thursday morning from carbon monoxide poisoning, Columbus police confirm.
Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan says he pronounced 2-year-old Emily Perez, 23-year-old Jose Alfredo-Perez and 27-year-old Edilberto Moreno-Hernandez dead just after 2 a.m. at 931 Benning Drive.
Bryan says the family was using a gasoline generator inside the home for electricity.
A police report says another family member Martha Perez-Cortez was also in the home at the time and is in critical condition at the hospital.
