Lincoln County, WI – Authorities in Lincoln County say two people were severely injured in a Monday afternoon home explosion.
Their medical conditions are unknown, and their names haven’t been released.
Two medical helicopters and multiple rescue crews were called to the scene near the town of Schley at about 3:30 p-m.
Fire investigators say they believe the blast was caused by propane, but they are working to make an official determination of the source.
The home was heavily damaged.
Emergency responders say the two victims were trapped in the rubble by the explosion.
They had to be extricated before they could be airlifted to a nearby hospital.
